Elasto-Hydro-Dynamic model

This model considers the dynamics of the oil film in the journal bearing with a rigid bearing shell. It is based on a numeric solution of the Reynolds equation. Lubrication grooves on the bearing shell can be defined in form of pressure boundary conditions. It is the ideal algorithm for simulations with long computation times, for example engine run-up simulations. Characteristic bearing parameters can be stored in an output file.
